Adventures in Apartment Hunting

Hey guys, I'm back! I've been so busy these last few weeks that blogging has kind of been on the back burner. We were apartment hunting and we finally found the perfect apartment! We were really lucky with it, and everything worked out kind of seamlessly. We found it online, looked at it, loved it, the landlords loved us, we sent in our application, and signed our lease all in just 2 days! It's a 2 bedroom/1bath here in Sandy. It's so cute and I am beyond excited to have our own space plus I can't wait to decorate everything! It's much closer to the freeway which will make my drive to work shorter and next to trax for Matt which will save us some money on gas. We'll be moving in this weekend and we can't wait to start this new and exciting chapter in our lives!

Now, onto the fashion part of this post. Isn't this cobalt pencil skirt from Spiegel the best? It is really comfortable and I love the color. I paired it with a shirt I thrifted for $8 and this gorgeous necklace from Groopdealz. One of the perks of working there is free jewelry! Anyways, this is definitely a skirt that can be worn during any season and next spring I imagine pairing it with a pastel or bold colored blouse.
